Bumper Cover Removal Front – 2012-2019 BMW 3 Series (F30)

1. Removing the front bumper cover.
remove the torx screws from top of front bumper cover

- Remove the front rubber gasket (1).

- Remove the 8 torx screws (2).

remove scews and plastic rivets from front underbody protection

- Remove the screws and plastic rivets (1) from underneath the front of the vehicle.

remove the three hex screws securing the wheel housing trim

- Remove the three hex screws (1) securing the left and right wheel housing trim (2) to the bumper cover.

Pro Tip

When disconnecting electrical connections during a repair, wrap them with high visibility blue or green tape so you don't miss any during reassembly.

- Carefully pull back the plastic wheel housing trim.

- Remove the screws (1) on top of both right and left wheel housings.

- Pull bumper cover forward slightly and disconnect all electrical connections.

- Remove the bumper cover from the vehicle.

Vehicles with M Aerodynamics Trim Package

- Unfasten plastic connectors (1)(2) behind lower portion of bumper cover on both the right and left side of vehicle.

- Remove the bumper cover from the vehicle.
